The EPAct of 2005 which provides for commercial lighting tax
deductions is applicable to our lighting solutions through the end of 2008.
It offers an accelerated tax deduction of $0.30 to $0.60/sq.ft. proportional to
lighting power density (LPD, calculated as watts per square foot) savings of
25-40% below the minimum required value in ASHRAE/IES 90.1-2001 (Energy
Standard for Buildings Except Low-Rise Residential Buildings).
Typically, the maximum deduction is easily achievable,
allowing a significant deduction from the initial investment.
Lumentek will provide customer with technical support to troubleshoot any
issues that may arise during installation and thereafter.
Lumentek will assess investment ROI, IRR, and payback period.
